There are very few places that can perfectly capture the fusion between the changing modern world and the rich culture of the past-London is one of those places.

Founded in 34AD, the London landscape offers a plethora of historical sites that date back as far as 2000 years (source). For every historical site this amazing city has to offer, there is a splash of modern life to be experienced.

The Beginning

It’s officially time to take off on our very first blog post. So sit back, relax, and let me welcome you to the Veni. Vidi. Vici. Travel Guide.

My hope for this blog is to create a place where individuals can learn about how to conquer travel all around the world. Using my experience and research, I will provide my fellow adventurers with the must-go places to visit, sights to see, and things to do. Seeing as I am a student on a budget (and I know about saving a dime or two), I will also provide you with ways to make the most of your destination without breaking the bank.

Every week I will be breaking down a new destination using my travel motto veni, vidi, vici (I came, I saw, I conquered).

The Veni {I came} will talk about why I think the destination of the week is a must visit place to go. It is in this section that I will also provide you with the cheapest times to go.

The Vidi {I saw} will discuss the awe-inspiring sights you must see while you are there.

The Vici {I conquered} will outline the must-do things (on a modest budget) to make the most of your adventure.

By taking my favourite travel motto and breaking it down, I am confident that I can provide you with a new way of taking on travel. Thank you for allowing me to take you along on this exciting ride.
