Its time to make like Wave, you’re going to California!

There are those who say the West coast is the best coast and well, I might just have to agree. This beautiful state offers so many amazing places to visit but driving along the coast to the Big Sur is my absolute favourite.
Located off the central coast of California, The Big Sur offers majestic views where the Santa Lucia Mountains rise from the Pacific Ocean. Take a break from your drive up the coast and enjoy the hiking, mountain climbing, and other outdoor activities the Big Sur has to offer.
Travel Tip: If you are planning to drive the coast, go from LA to San Francisco rather than the other way around. If you drive from LA to San Francisco you stay on the side of the highway that is closest to the mountain (and you don’t have to worry about the plunging drop on the other side of the road).

Bixby Bridge: This bridge offers amazing 360-degree views of the California coast. Its prime locale and amazing architecture makes it one of the California’s most photographed bridges.
Point Sur Lighthouse: Perched atop a volcanic rock along the coast of the Big Sur, this lighthouse provides a gorgeous backdrop for your vacation photos.
Coastal Highway Pit Stops: If you are only driving through the Big Sur make sure to stop at the Coastal Highway. The views are unlike any other and if you’re lucky you’ll be able to see some marine wildlife.

McWay Falls: Hike the Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park for an amazing view of this 80-foot waterfall.
Hearst Castle: Visit the castle of William Hearst located atop the Mountain in San Simeon. The castle is like something out of the Great Gatsby, and the views… well there is just no words to describe it.
It is no SURprise why the Big Sur is one of California’s must see regions.
