Paris, France

“La vie est belle” = life is beautiful, especially if you’re in Paris.

It’s hard not to fall madly in love with Paris. Even on a broke girls/guys budget, Paris can make you feeling like the royal you are (or at least should be). History (dating all the back to 7500 BC) is waiting to be discovered around every corner. If that doesn’t excite you, the sparkly lights of the Eiffel Tower at night will.

Eiffel Tower at Night

If you’re still not sold on Paris, I have three of the most attractive words for you…
1) Pastries
2) baguettes
3) crepes
Travel Tip: Check out Air BNB, it’s a great alternative to staying in a hotel and it’ll save you tons of money…to learn more about the service click here.

Montmartre: My favourite part of Paris. It is the only view of the city that includes the Eiffel Tower. The sights are to sigh for.

Champs Elysees: Save money and window shop as you stroll along the Champs Elysees. Offers a remarkable view of the Arc de Triomphe.
Eiffel Tower: Do I even have to explain why this is a sight to see? The Tower is self is gorgeous (seeing at night is a must) and the trek up the stairs will provide you with beautiful views of the city.
Notre Dame: The famous church’s exterior and interior architect exudes a beauty so rich in history.

The Museums:
The Louvre: Home to the famous Mona Lisa, the Louvre offers hours of amazing artifacts and paintings.
Musée D’Orsay: This old railway station is home to one of the largest collection of impressionist paintings.
Travel Tip: If you are a student make sure to bring your student card. Many historical/cultural attractions will provide you with a discount if not free admission to these attractions.
Love Lock Bridge: The bridge is filled with the locks of lovers who locked down their love and threw away the key.

  1. Paris was everything they make it out to be! I was there in May and it was such a dream! From the Champs Elysees to the Eiffel Tower, there is never a dull moment. My friend and I conquered the city in just three days, it was crazy but we loved every minute of it! Great money saving tips..i’ll be using those for my next adventure!
